During a harsh winter, founders Steve Meid and Bill Peifer agreed that the best way of continuing the success of their Illinois-based company was to add a second location in a warmer climate with fast-growing communities. With more than 50 years combined experience in land development and home building, Steve and Bill have built thousands of homes in the Champaign, Bloomington and Peoria markets under the name Signature Homes.  Their new Texas-based operations run under the name Pinehurst Homes; a new look but the same excellent service and signature homes. 

Steve has relocated to Austin, TX to manage the day to day operations of Pinehurst Builders as their business continues to grow at a rapid pace.  Bill continues to oversee all operations for Signature Homes in Illinois.  Together, they are making dream homes a reality for the thousands.
